“Endure” – Seeds of Faith – May 3, 2021

Due to the pandemic, the Christ Emphasis Week celebration of Central Philippine University was turned into a virtual celebration. The Theme for this year’s CEW is “Endure.”
Why should we endure?
First, we can endure any hardships because we believe that God will fight for us.
Exodus 14:14 says, “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Second, we can face anything because we  believe that God has a plan for us.
Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us — “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Third, we can withstand whatever will come our way because we believe that God knows our name and cares for us individually.
Isaiah 43:1 says,” But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.”
Fourth, we can confront any trials and temptations because we believe that God is our refuge and strength.
Psalm 62:6-8 says, “Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”
Fifth, we can approach all that may come our way with the assurance that God will always be there for us.
The ending of the Great Commission in Matthew 28:20 assures us with these words, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
So, let us go out into this world, and endure what we face and what is to come because God will never leave us nor forsake us.
May God bless us all!
Sincerely,
