U-Day fever can now be felt in the campus of Central Philippine University. The Theme for this year’s celebration is “Centralians Sharing 3Ts (Time, Talent, Treasure) for One CPU @ 112.”
Why do we share?
When we SHARE we:
S – Show to the world that we care. Jesus cares for each one of us. As disciples of Jesus, we need to show it by sharing what we have. Romans 12:13 says, “Share with God’s people who are in need.”
When we SHARE we:
H – Help those who are in need. Some are in need of our time, some our talents and some our treasures. We need to find ways to help in any way that we can.
When we SHARE we:
A – Allow God to work in and through us. God can only use those who are willing. When we say yes to God, He will use us mightily to reach out to others through our lives.
When we SHARE we:
R – Release blessings to people and change their situations. Naturally, whether we admit it or not, we are selfish. When we accept Jesus Christ in our hearts, we become selfless and we share our blessings to others.
When we SHARE we:
E – Enjoy the privilege of seeing the happy faces of people. There is no substitute in seeing the smile or tears of joy of people when we extend our helping hand to them. We can really experience pure joy when we share our time, talent and treasure to others.
